EMALTE teams with The Pacific Collective

EMALTE Team members are currently working with Louise Hardman of The Pacific Collective to commercialise the "Shruder".

The Shruder has been designed to shred plastic waste and then use the plastic waste to extrude filament.

The EMALTE involvement includes:

  • ensuring the machine meets all electrical and safety standards

  • the design and testing of a renewable energy power supply for use in remote locations

  • taking the product to market

Having lived and worked in many developing nations where plastic waste is abundant and discarded waste is the direct cause of significant environmental damage it is a privilege for us to work on such a worthwhile project.
